Everyone worries from time to time. But do you think worrying is helpful? If God is sovereign, meaning he is in control of all things, we need to trust Him. God allows things to happen for a reason. He knows all things and we do not. Sometimes when it seems like a bad thing is happening, it ends up being a good thing after all. Trust God for He is good and loving!

Share Together

Answer these questions together. Have an open and honest discussion and learn how each family member can be respectful to each other and other people, as God’s word directs.

  • What do you think your parents or teachers worry about?
  • What do you worry about?
  • How can you help someone when they are afraid or worried?
  • How does the Holy Spirit help us when we are afraid or worried?

Finally, Pray Together!

Set a time each day to pray, asking the Holy Spirit to fill you with the Fruit of the Spirit.

  • As you pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you, look for opportunities to exhibit, in your actions, one Fruit, in particular, that day and another fruit the next day, until you have exhibited each Fruit of God’s Holy Spirit.
